MPs Oleksiy Riabchyn (Batkivschyna), Natalia Katser-Buchkovska (Narodnyi Front) and Lev Pidlysetskyi (Samopomich) think that the Draft Law No. 2966 “On the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission” will be put to a vote during the first plenary week in 2016. It was announced during the round table at Ukraine Crisis Media Centre, dedicated to unfreezing this regulatory act.
Mykola Martynenko, Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety, proposed MPs to pass a decision on the Draft Law No. 2966 (on the Regulator) during this plenary week. It happened during the Coordination Board.

This opinion was expressed during the presentation of the annual monitoring report on the progress of reforms under Ukraine’s commitments within the framework of the Energy Community.

On November,6, the first meeting of the Multilateral Group on implementation and efficiency monitoring of reforms under Ukraine’s commitments within the framework of the Energy Community took place at the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry.
Olena Pavlenko, President, Dixi Group Analytical Centre, acted as an expert in Igor Chayka’s documentary “Gas Revolution or Shale Zugzwang?” The authors of the project wanted to clarify the situation in the country around unconventional natural gas development.
