Olena Pavlenko, PhD, President and co-founder of the Ukrainian DiXi Group think tank and the Ukrainian Energy website. She leads the projects on energy policy, energy security, EU-Ukraine energy cooperation supported by the USAID, EU, OECD, World Bank and others.
Olena works in energy sector more than 20 years. She is an EITI Board Member, Deputy Head of Ukraine’s EITI Multi-Stakeholder Group. She also served as a non-stuff Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
After the full-scale invasion of Russia started, Olena and her team joined Working Group under the Ministry of Energy to help energy companies to find the equipment to replace the damaged ones. She and her team has also supported local communities to the equipment to stay resilient during the electricity outages. She also continues her advocacy work to support energy sector of Ukraine and impose sanctions against russia in energy sector.
