DiXi Group Representative Took Part in Discussion of the Draft Law on Energy Market

Roman Nitsovych, Program Manager, DiXi Group Analytical Centre, took part in the discussion of the Draft Law on Energy Market, held at the Government Communications Centre.

The discussion which took place on November,12 was dedicated to liberalizing the electricity, heat, coal and gas markets, and switching them to a new model of operation. In Roman Nitsovych’s opinion, the new Law should establish rules of game in the relevant market to be valid for the next 20 to 25 years.

“The Law can’t satisfy everybody. There will always be winners and losers. In the markets with high capital concentration, someone’s interests are bound to suffer”, told Program Manager, DiXi Group Analytical Centre.

Roman Nitsovych joined the discussion at the invitation of the Reform Support Centre under the Cabinet of Ministers. The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry was represented by OleksandrSvitelyk, line Deputy Minister.
