The future of gas transit was discussed at the second Energy4Victory charity webinar
A few months ago, DiXi Group launched the Energy4Victory initiative to raise money for the Ukraine’s Army. The second webinar was held on October 31, 2022, with Serhii Makogon, the CEO of Gas TSO of Ukraine in 2019-2022.
Energy4Victory is a series of closed online meetings with high-level speakers to raise money for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The event’s purpose is to combine expert discussions on energy security issues with high-level Ukrainian and international speakers with the charity activity to support the Ukrainian Army via donation to the Leleka Foundation.
During the second webinar, participants discussed the status of gas transit via Ukraine, the future of Nord Stream gas pipelines, and Ukraine’s role in EU energy security due to deeper integration of gas markets.
Seventeen people took part in the event. Thanks to their support, it was possible to collect 750 USD for Leleka Foundation. All donations will be used to purchase critical medical supplies for Ukraine’s defenders and civilians.
The first Energy4Victory charity webinar was held in September and was dedicated to the legal aspects of Gazprom’s activities in Europe. The speaker of this event was Dr. Alan Riley, Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, Member of the Advisory Committee to the Ministerial Council of the Energy Community.
