Olena Pavlenko took part in the meeting of the EITI Board in Berlin

President of the DiXi Group analytical center Olena Pavlenko joined the Ukrainian delegation to participate in the EITI Board meeting (Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative), which took place in Berlin on June 28-29.

One of the issues on the agenda of the meeting was Ukraine’s assessment of the implementation of EITI. According to the decision of the Board, Ukraine received an assessment “significant progress”, following the publication of three reports. One of the highest ratings – more than required – was received by Ukraine for the involvement of the public in the introduction of EITI, the disclosure of data about beneficiary owners, the organization of public discussions, etc.

In addition to participating in the meeting of the EITI Board, Olena Pavlenko met with NGOs in Germany, which is part of the Multilateral Stakeholder Group, for possible joint initiatives in the future.
