Game of Gas Thrones: DiXi Group Presents the Study on Corruption Schemes in Gas Production Sector

On 25 December, 10.00 a.m., at Ukraine Crisis Media Centre (2 Kreschatyk St., Ukrainian House), a study on the most popular fraudulent schemes in oil and gas production sector as well as a board game based on its results will be presented.

DiXi Group Analytical Centre described corruption schemes that have been used for years for money laundering in the extractive industry, and developed corruption prevention indicators which can prevent recourse to such ways of enrichment.

The schemes presented involve manipulations, related to the issue of special permits, granting the use of fields without formal procedures, companies’ manipulations with assets or resources, disposal of fields or wells.

Using Game of Gas Thrones board game, everybody will be able to understand corrupt practices in the extraction sector and timely prevent their spreading.
