DiXi Group helps determine winners of PSA tenders

DiXi Group President Olena Pavlenko joined efforts with the Interagency Commission for Production Sharing Agreements (PSA) as an external expert to evaluate applications for PSA tenders. The external expert’s duties included evaluation of bidder applications along with Interagency Commission members and participation in the review of applications to determine potential winners. Tenders were announced for nine mainland oil and gas fields. 23 applications from 14 (including four foreign) companies were submitted in total. After deliberations, the Interagency Commission announced the outcome of tenders on Monday, 1 July, naming the winners by the unanimous decision. “We at DiXi Group would like to congratulate the winners and remind them that according to the Extractive Industries Transparency Law, they are required to disclose essential terms of production sharing agreements they signed,” Olena Pavlenko said. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has two months to review the Interagency Commission’s recommendations and approve the winners. After that, the companies will have to prepare and sign production sharing agreements with the government and have them approved by local communities.
