DiXi Group held a round table in the USA

On November 17, 2022, the DiXi Group team, together with the American analytical center E3G, held a discussion with key American stakeholders about Ukraine’s urgent energy needs and the main principles of the country’s “green” recovery.

Representatives of the governments of Ukraine and the USA, USAID, the US Congress, American public organizations, and analytical centers took part in the discussion. The round table was held with the support of the European Climate Foundation and the International Renaissance Foundation.

The participants were introduced to the critical problems faced by the Ukrainian energy infrastructure after the russian shelling, as well as the needs of companies and communities to get through the winter period. For its part, the American side reported the list of aid already provided to Ukraine and the possibility of increasing it in the future.

Also, representatives of Ukrainian cities talked about the situation at the local level and what local communities need most now. Among the possible options for continuing the dialogue, direct cooperation and assistance between the cities of the USA and Ukraine were considered.

In addition to organizing the discussion, the experts of DiXi Group also presented proposals for the fastest possible US assistance to Ukraine in the field of energy, in the medium and long term.

During the event, an analytical document on the main principles of the “green” recovery of Ukraine, prepared by the DiXi Group team, was distributed.
