DiXi Group analytical center President Olena Pavlenko and Vice President Anton Antonenko met with the U.S. Assistant Secretary on Energy Resources Francis Fannon. The meeting took place on July 23 at the analytical center’s office. Representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, the American-Ukrainian Business Council and the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine joined the meeting. The participants discussed the state of reforms in Ukraine’s energy sector.

DiXi Group's Vice President Anton Antonenko took part in the round table "Facilitating Georgian Energy Reforms in Line with Energy Community Commitments" organized by representatives of the Georgian think tank WEG (World Experience for Georgia). DiXi's representative shared via Skype with those participating in the event his experience on how to organize the monitoring of the performance of obligations within the framework of the Energy Community (which the DiXi Group has maintained since 2011), elucidated the structure and key components of the monitoring, and talked about the details of activities of the Multilateral Working Group.

DiXi Group's Think Tank Program Manager Roman Nitsovych participated in the UkraineLab 2017 that was held in Brussels on February 22. The event organized by the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels (the "Office") with the support of the European Endowment for Democracy, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the Mission of Canada to the EU, and the International Renaissance Foundation was dedicated to project ideas to support reforms in Ukraine.

President of the DiXi Group Olena Pavlenko attended a hearing Association Agreements, Beyond Rhetoric at the European Parliament dedicated to the progress of implementing Association Agreements in Ukraine and Moldova. Among other things, such topics as energy, combating corruption, cross-border cooperation, political dialog, and human rights were discussed during the Ukrainian panel.

Currently, the proper management of state owned companies remains an important challenge, as without that all the plans of successful privatization of energy facilities will remain just another promise. The ways of preventing that were discussed by experts at the round table "What Model of State Asset Management is Needed for Ukraine" held on February 10 with the support from the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety and with the assistance of the British Government.
