DiXi Group's Vice President Anton Antonenko took part in the round table "Facilitating Georgian Energy Reforms in Line with Energy Community Commitments" organized by representatives of the Georgian think tank WEG (World Experience for Georgia). DiXi's representative shared via Skype with those participating in the event his experience on how to organize the monitoring of the performance of obligations within the framework of the Energy Community (which the DiXi Group has maintained since 2011), elucidated the structure and key components of the monitoring, and talked about the details of activities of the Multilateral Working Group.
DiXi Group's Think Tank Program Manager Roman Nitsovych participated in the UkraineLab 2017 that was held in Brussels on February 22. The event organized by the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels (the "Office") with the support of the European Endowment for Democracy, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the Mission of Canada to the EU, and the International Renaissance Foundation was dedicated to project ideas to support reforms in Ukraine.

A Regular "Energy Breakfast" which took place on February 10 at the initiative of the DiXi Group Think Tank brought together representatives of the three Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – on Fuel and Energy Complex, on Urban Development, Housing and Utility Services, and on European Integration, Johannes Baur, a representative of the Support Group for Ukraine, European Commission, and leading public experts. The goal of the latest informal meeting was to determine the main short-term goals for the implementation of European legislation in the field of energy. Any delays in the adoption of the draft laws "On Environmental Impact Assessment" and "On Strategic Environmental Assessment" can lead to a loss of European partners' confidence. Representatives of NGOs filed an open letter to the government in which the call to allocate budgetary funds for the annual implementation of state energy efficiency programs in the amount that would meet the real demand, and adopt draft laws that will allow launching the Energy Efficiency Fund and will contribute to reforming the housing and utilities sector.
