The DiXi Group team, led by General Manager for Sustainable Development Viktoria Kovalenko, participated in the ANEW-LIFE Project General Assembly, which took place in Budapest on September 22-23.
The ANEW-LIFE project is funded by the European Union and aims to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy consumption through the development and testing of innovative financing mechanisms for municipal energy solutions. In Ukraine, the pilot cities where the measures will be implemented are Zhytomyr, Kalush, and Nizhyn.
The results of baseline assessments of three cities were presented at the event in Budapest. Next, based on technical, economic, and social analysis, the most effective energy solutions and projects for implementation will be selected. DiXi Group will assist with the coordination of the third phase of the project, “Demonstration, Monitoring, and Replication of Results.”
“At this stage, we will test and validate solutions, as well as prepare projects for wider implementation. The goal is to create a sustainable model that can be replicated in other cities, not just in pilot ones,” emphasized Victoria Kovalenko, General Manager for Sustainable Development at DiXi Group.
As a result of the implementation of the projects, participating cities will be able to exchange their experience and knowledge at both the national and international levels. In the future, it is planned to scale the activities to 10 cities in Ukraine and 10 cities in EU countries.
