- The electricity supply was restored to more than 120,000 consumers during the week – the Ministry of Energy.
- The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the National Waste Management Plan, which envisages covering 85% of households with waste management services by 2033.
- Tariffs and prices for heating and electricity will remain unchanged until the end of the heating season – Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
- Commercial electricity exports from Ukraine increased by 22% to 22.1 GWh, while imports decreased by 26% to 26.0 GWh.
- The BCM Base Index for February was set at UAH 5,438.7/MWh (+2.1% compared to January).
- About 900 MW of distributed generation is planned to be commissioned in 2025, and 3 GW of damaged thermal and hydro generation is planned to be restored, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
- As of 16 January, the level of settlements with renewable electricity producers under the feed-in tariff in 2024 was 79.6%; Ukrenergo’s debt to Guaranteed Buyer was UAH 22 billion.
- In 2024, 21 gas distribution system operators belonging to Naftogaz Group maintained in-building gas supply systems in almost 35,000 multi-apartment buildings and repaired more than 240,000 gas leaks.
- In 2024, Ukrnafta increased gas production to 1.17 bcm (+6.5%) and oil production to 1.418 mt (+0.6%).
- In 2024, Ukraine increased diesel imports by 8% to 6.65 million tonnes (75% of total motor fuel imports), while the number of importers decreased from 318 to 185 companies.
- Ukraine is ready to supply coal to Moldova and Transnistria and help restore the Moldovan thermal power plant – President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
- In 2025, Ukraine expects to attract €30.6 billion in budget support from the EU – the Ministry of Finance.
