Olena Pavlenko become a member of the PWYP Global Council

DiXi Group President Olena Pavlenko was elected as a representative from the Eurasian Region to the Global Council of Publish What You Pay, an international coalition of NGOs working to increase the transparency of the extractive industries and implement the EITI. As a member of the Global Council, Olena will represent Ukraine, Albania, Kosovo, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia. She was elected to the post for the second time (firstly in 2015-2016). “It is an honor for me to represent so many countries in the region. Each country has its history of EITI implementation, its victories, and challenges that must be addressed, – said Olena Pavlenko. – Establishing quality communication between us, pooling around common tasks and sharing experiences can help each country improve its management in the extractive sector, increase its transparency, and achieve better quality standards. I will make every effort to ensure that our cooperation produces a quality result. ”
