On December 13 at 12:30 p.m., experts, politicians and scientists will discuss the implementation of European reforms in the environmental legislation of Ukraine.
President of DiXi Group, Olena Pavlenko, took part in a workshop. An event organized by Heinrich Böll Foundation was held on November 2-3 in Vienna. The workshop was devoted to discussion of the situation in the energy sector in the Eastern and Southern European countries, more specifically, in the spheres of environment protection, abandonment of the coal use, and development of renewable energy sources. Participants of the event were representatives of regional offices of the Foundation as well as experts from Ukraine, Georgia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, and Croatia.
Experts mention the absence of significant progress in the area of Ukraine’s implementation of the EU Association Agreement in the energy and environment spheres in June-August 2016.
On 7 September at 15.00 in Kyiv, a briefing presentation of an expert assessment of implementation of the EU Association Agreement in the sphere of energy and environment for June-August 2016 will be held.
2016 will see the breakthrough and modernization of Ukraine’s “green” energy. This opinion was expressed during the roundtable dedicated to the progress in the implementation of the National Renewable Energy Action Plan.
The discussion, dedicated to decoupling, took place at the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety.
Olena Pavlenko, President, DiXi Group Analytical Centre, took part in the events held by the Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, on November, 25 in London. In particular, she visited the Panel Discussion “The Future of European Energy: Implications for Security, Competitiveness and Climate Change” and acted as a co-rapporteur at the Ukrainian Forum, presenting the fifth annual monitoring report “Ukraine and Energy Community: On the Road to Reforms”.
