- Russia carried out the twelfth massive attack on the Ukrainian power system in 2024, using 94 missiles of various types and 193 drones.
- The attack resulted in a reduction in NPP power output, damage to TPP equipment, and increased measures to limit electricity consumption.
- A drone attacked and seriously damaged an official IAEA car during the rotation of IAEA teams at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP, no one was injured in the attack.
- “Winter eSupport” (a one-time allowance of UAH 1,000) has already been received by 1.8 million adults and 520,000 children, and the funds received were mainly used to pay for utilities (63%).
- In two weeks, more than 800 households in Kryvyi Rih have been additionally connected to heat; 68 repair teams from across the country are working in the city, and 280 Points of Unbreakability have been deployed.
- In June-November 2024, banks received applications for lending to energy infrastructure restoration projects worth UAH 68.6 billion – National Bank of Ukraine.
- The DAM Base Index moderately increased to 5,994.7 UAH/MWh (+1%); electricity imports increased by 22% to 99 GWh.
- The Government has approved the candidacies of Yurii Boyko, Anatolii Hulei and Oleksii Nikitin as members of the Supervisory Board of Ukrenergo as representatives of the state.
- In 11 months of 2024, Naftogaz Group companies produced more than 13.5 bcm of gas.
- The Supreme Court of the Netherlands has finally confirmed the legality of the Hague arbitration award to compensate Naftogaz for the assets seized by Russia in Crimea.
- The EBRD and Aon have announced the launch of a EUR 110 million Guarantee Facility for the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine, which will provide insurance for goods and vehicles worth more than EUR 1 billion annually.
