- The infrastructure of the frontline regions was under attack. As of October 27, over 224,000 consumers in 5 regions were without electricity.
- IAEA experts visited six substations as part of an assessment of the state of the infrastructure essential for nuclear safety.
- The Base BCM index for November was formed at the level of 5,101.3 UAH/MWh (-8.4% compared to October), and the weekly Base DAM index increased to 5,820.4 UAH/MWh (+3.8%).
- Gas injection into storage facilities decreased by 83.4%, which may indicate the start of the withdrawal season in the near future.
- As part of the government’s energy programs, applications for loans in the amount of UAH 7.9 billion have been approved, and over UAH 2 billion have been issued – Prime Minister Shmyhal.
- The Regulator simplified the conditions for connecting floating power plants to networks and also obliged licensees to approve safety passports for critical infrastructure facilities.
- The government “recommended” the National Securities and Stock Market Commission to work on the transfer of corporate rights of Kremenchuk CHP to Ukrnafta control.
- The Ministry of Energy and the European Commission approved the Roadmap for the development of renewable gases and considered further steps toward reforming the gas market.
- Ukraine has to complete 2 more structural benchmarks in energy by the end of the year – the result of the fifth review of the EFF program. In particular, the formation of the supervisory board of Ukrenergo and the strengthening of the independence of NEURC.
- Guaranteed Buyer filed a lawsuit against Ukrenergo to collect UAH 6.5 billion in debt.
- According to Naftogaz’s lawsuit, the court in Helsinki seized the assets of the Russian Federation in Finland.
