The DiXi Group team is pleased to announce the launch of the updated version of Energy Map – Ukraine’s largest open data platform in the energy sector.
“The pause in the platform’s operation was used to thoroughly review our data management approach, improve the portal’s structure, and incorporate user feedback. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who took part in the interviews and shared their impressions – your input helped make Energy Map more user-friendly and functional,” said Oksana Zuieva, Senior Open Data Expert at DiXi Group.
Key updates include:
- An updated web design with a more modern, simplified, and intuitive interface.
- A newly added homepage featuring basic information about the portal and its features.
- Improved navigation:
- the “Datasets” section has been removed to simplify the structure;
- the “Subject” filter has been expanded for more precise search results;
- a new “Popular topics” block was added for quick access to the most interesting data.
- A newly created news section where analytical materials and research based on the portal’s data will be published regularly.
Additionally, a subscription system has been introduced. The basic functionality will remain free, while an extended version will be available for users who require full access to all data and features.
“We are grateful to everyone who supports the development of Energy Map and look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions for further improvement,” added Oksana Zuieva.
This is just the beginning – the team is already working on the next updates to make the portal even more valuable for experts, analysts, and anyone interested in Ukraine’s energy sector.
