10 interns from Ukraine attended think tanks of the Baltic countries within a study visit. During four days, the visitors held meetings at six NGOs in Estonia and Latvia.
In particular, interns from Ukraine visited PROVIDUS, Institute of Baltic Studies, E-governance academy and other think tanks. The Ukrainian delegation included DiXi group interns Andriy Figol and Andriy Bilous.
“Having compared the activity of think tanks in the EU countries and Ukraine, interns have identified personal ways of development and vectors of self-fulfillment. Knowledge gained directly through the communication with experts, who have worked in their countries during transition and have implemented reforms, is extremely important for us as a new generation of analysts and experts”, said Andriy Figol.
The study tour was a part of the Think Tank Development Initiative (TTDI), implemented by the International Renaissance Foundation in partnership with the Think Tank Fund (TTF) funded by the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine (SIDA).As reported before, DiXi Group junior analyst Mariia Melnyk has conducted within this initiative a one month internship at the Center for International Studies (Science Po) in France.
