- Russia continues attacks on infrastructure, especially in frontline regions. On October 28, due to damage, emergency blackouts were applied in the Sumy and Poltava regions.
- Electricity supply was restored for over 504,000 consumers during the week.
- The Ministry of Energy suspended publishing information on the consequences of hostilities for the energy system.
- At the occupied ZNPP, power unit No. 1 was being repaired after a water leak was detected in the cooling pump system.
- ENTSO–E increased the permitted transmission capacity for electricity imports to Ukraine from December 1 – from 1.7 to 2.1 GW. A guaranteed 250 MW is also available as emergency support.
- All regions of Ukraine have completed preparations for the heating season. At the same time, local authorities (OVAs) create energy passports to systematize data.
- The government has simplified the conditions for obtaining interest–free loans for the installation of hybrid renewable energy systems in households.
- The Base BCM index for November was formed at the level of 5,071.1 UAH/MWh (–1.4% compared to October), the Base DAM index increased to 5,886.7 UAH/MWh (+1.1%).
- The first of the Guaranteed Buyer’s pilot auctions for allocating an additional support quota for solar power plants (11 MW) did not take place due to the lack of participants.
- The season of gas withdrawal from storages has started; the average daily volume is 3.3 million cubic meters.
- The temporary investigative commission will be established In the Verkhovna Rada to investigate the formation of prices and tariffs for energy and utilities’ services, as well as the causes of respective debts.
- GTS Operator of Ukraine and other operators of CESEC member countries signed a memorandum on the harmonization of gas quality requirements.
- Ukraine has a good level of preparation and has achieved certain progress in energy during the year – the report of the European Commission.
