• The enemy attacked the facilities of the power transmission system in the Sumy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Russia tried to use problems with the operation of a transformer at the South Ukraine NPP in the information war against Ukraine.
• Laws have come into force that lift tax and customs duties on imports of energy equipment, including generators, wind and solar installations, and batteries.
• Ukraine needs almost 370 modular boiler houses, as well as over 380 generators for the district heating sector – Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko.
• By October DTEK plans to restore 60–70% of the thermal generation destroyed by Russia’s attacks – Executive Director Dmytro Sakharuk.
