- More than 80% of TPPs capacity and more than 40% HPPs capacity destroyed – IMF report.
- Restrictions on consumption in the form of hourly scheduled outages were applied in 100% hours of the week.
- The lack of supply of air defense systems to Ukraine in the required volumes, leading to further loss of generating capacity – among main fiscal risks for 2025-2027.
- The government approved the 2030 National Energy and Climate Plan.
- The Ministry of Economy presented an overview of 12 IFI programs for EUR 1.4 bn to be implemented under the Ukraine Investment Framework.
- Ukraine’s 17 largest banks had signed a memorandum on lending for energy infrastructure restoration projects.
- The Regulator adopted a resolution on introducing special auctions for ancillary services (for a period of one to five years). Also, the requirements for commercial metering of electricity under martial law were simplified.
- The High Anti–Corruption Court lifted the seizure of gas DSOs, which were part of RGС group (Dmytro Firtash). Later, the Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency Olena Duma reported that the shares were returned to the state management by the Pechersk Court decision.
- The State Service for Geology and Mineral Resources has renewed three licenses for the production and development of hydrocarbons, owned by companies of Smart Energy group (Vadym Novynskyi).
- Denmark will transfer an additional grant (app. EUR 4.7 mln) to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. The Lithuanian side will provide Ukraine with a powerful autotransformer.
