Ukraine continues to implement the IMF programme and the Ukraine Plan under the Ukraine Facility, a strategic framework for financial support and structural reforms. These commitments are the basis for the trust of international partners and the foundation for economic stability.

At the same time, it is important to strengthen the focus on attracting investment. It is the second component of the Ukraine Facility – the €9.3 billion Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF) – that is designed to create favourable conditions for investment growth and private sector participation in the country’s recovery and modernisation.

Is Ukraine ready to use this instrument effectively to attract EUR 40 billion of investments? On 30 April, we invite you to discuss this during the presentation of the April monitoring by the #RRR4U consortium. The special topic of the issue focuses on investments in Ukraine and the implementation of the second component of the Ukraine Facility.

When: 30 April 2025, 15:00 – 16:30
Format? Hybrid: Online Zoom, offline in Kyiv (registration required)
Language: Ukrainian (with simultaneous English translation for the international audience)

What will be discussed?

  • What does Ukraine’s preparation for the eighth review of the IMF programme look like?
  • What are the risks of receiving a new tranche under the Ukraine Facility?
  • And most importantly, what are the obstacles to investment, apart from military operations? How can the second component of the Ukraine Facility, which aims to boost private investment in the Ukrainian economy, help?
