DiXi Group think tank, the Reanimation Package of Reforms and Stronger Together initiative prepared a petition to the Parliament on the need to adopt the key EU integration Law No. 2966-д “On the National Energy and Public Utilities Regulatory Commission” as soon as possible.
“The issue is important not only because this is our commitment to the international community, but also a chance to receive another EUR 600 million tranche from the EU”, the authors of the petition emphasized. According to them, the efficient and independent regulator will facilitate rooting out of corruption and political speculations around tariffs, as well as the development of domestic energy industry.
