DiXi Group’s analysts participated in the presentation “Ukraine and the Association Agreement: Monitoring of Implementation in 2014–2016” as independent reviewers of the relevant
The presentation was organized by the Ukrainian Centre for European Policy NGO with the support of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European Integration.
The event was attended by Jan Tombiński, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze, Vice Prime Minister for European Integration, MPs, deputies of line Ministers and representatives of the civil society.
DiXi Group was represented by Roman Nitsovych, Program Manager, and analysts Denys Nazarenko and Andrii Bilous.
As Roman Nitsovych commented on Ukraine’ progress in the implementation of the energy-related provisions of the Association Agreement together with Olha Bielkova, MP, he mentioned the following, “In the energy sector, Ukraine, as a member of the Energy Community, had had support and certain commitments long before the Association Agreement was signed. But the real progress started in 2014, though the reform process has not yet been completed. While we’re on the home straight in the gas sector, there’s still much to be done in the electricity sector. Thus, the basic Law “On the Electricity Market” is yet to be adopted. Another important law deals with the independent regulator.”
