- The government extended until May 1, 2026, an experimental project to distribute humanitarian aid in the form of liquefied gas to household consumers in frontline territories. The project was also extended to the Zaporizhzhia region.
- The Cabinet of Ministers supported a draft law that provides for the mandatory installation of individual heating substations (IHS) in buildings connected to centralized heating systems.
- The Strategic Investment Council approved the Single Project Portfolio of Public Investments for 2026 (SPP-2026), which consists of 149 projects and programs with a total value of UAH 11.39 trillion; 25 projects are related to the energy sector.
- Commercial electricity exports from Ukraine decreased by 15.8% compared to the previous week and amounted to 131.2 GWh. Imports, in turn, increased by 74.2% to 38.8 GWh.
- The Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution to announce a competition for two vacant positions of independent members of the supervisory board of Energoatom.
- As of September 2025, the debt to Ukrenergo in the balancing market reached UAH 39.2 billion, an increase of 13% since the beginning of the year.
- Naftogaz raised UAH 2.445 billion as part of a strategic partnership with the state- owned Ukreximbank. The funds will be used to finance the production needs of Ukrgazvydobuvannya.
- In January-August 2025, budget revenues from excise tax on fuel amounted to UAH 72.26 billion.
