  • According to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, Russia attacked a thermal power plant in the Kyiv region, probably the Trypilska TPP.
  • The government adopted a resolution clarifying the obligation to publish information in the Prozorro system about the prices of materials and resources purchased during restoration works, in particular related to energy infrastructure.
  • Commercial electricity exports from Ukraine increased by 2.1% compared to the previous week and amounted to 121.5 GWh. Imports, in turn, fell by 11.8% to 21.7 GWh. Thus, exports exceeded electricity imports sevenfold.
  • Over the week, the average hourly price of electricity on the day-ahead market (Base DAM Index) fell significantly to 3,547.6 UAH/MWh (-28.2%). One of the possible factors behind this decline could be the partial shift of demand by certain market participants to other market segments, in particular the intraday market (IDM).
  • The Cabinet of Ministers approved the appointment of three new members of the NEURC – Roman Shykerynets, Lyubomyr Salovskyi, and Serhii Pushkar – for a term of six years, which allowed the formation of a full seven-member composition of the Regulator.
  • The Regulator issued eight energy storage licenses, which were obtained by Solar Farm – 4, Solar Farm-6, Solar Farm-7, Solar Farm-8, Solipower Trading, Ness Power, Drabivska BESS, and Smolinska BESS.
  • The NEURC published draft amendments to the Methodology for Calculating Natural Gas Distribution Tariffs, which provides for a transition period during which a gradual increase in distribution tariffs (through application to all licensees of uniform coefficient) will take place.
  • Ukraine is ready to supply gas and oil to Slovakia, provided that they are not of Russian origin – President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
