Mr. Roman Vybranovskyi, a media and communication expert with over 15-year experience in the implementation of communication projects relating to various issues of public importance, joined the Board of Directors of DiXi Group think tank.
In January 2015, he joined the Ukraine Crisis Media Centre to build communication between stakeholders of the energy reforms in Ukraine. As an expert of the Ukraine Crisis Media Centre, he was an adviser to the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine during 2015–2016, and was responsible for strategic communications and organization of the press service activities.
Mr. Vybranovskyi has vast experience in developing media strategies to respond to potential threats of mass panic caused by problems in the healthcare sector (WHO). He also worked as leader of Advocacy: Mobilization of Political Will segment within the framework of the Global Fund’s Stop TB in Ukraine Program.
In 2002–2005, Mr. Vybranovskyi participated in the development of concept and creation of Hromadske Radio — the first independent radio project with no political financing. Later, as director of department at the National Television Company of Ukraine and director of documentary projects department at 1+1, he worked on special projects aimed at initiating public discussion of some complex problems in a series of TV marathons on UT-1 (Chornobyl accident, children’s rights, reform of the utilities sector) and a series of important documentaries (perception of credit disasters) on 1+1.
