DiXi Group President Olena Pavlenko, together with the ЕІТІ National Secretariat and an Independent Administrator participated in the meeting with representatives of the IMF. The discussed topics included implementation of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative in Ukraine and preparation of the Second ЕІТІ Report to be published in December. Besides, the parties discussed draft law No. 4840 “On Disclosure of Information in Extractive Industries” and draft law No. 4646-1 “On Amending the Law “On Accounting and Financial Reporting in Ukraine”.
All participants of the meeting agreed that adoption of the new legislation will become a prerequisite of the extractive industry transparency, will enable thorough understanding of the rules of the market functioning and making it more attractive for investors.
As a reminder, the First Report was issued in Ukraine last year.
