Ukraine continues to implement its cooperation program with the IMF and the Ukraine Plan under the Ukraine Facility, and further financial support from international partners depends on this progress. However, the pace of reform adoption has recently been in question, and the new government inherits this agenda along with all the pending tasks.
Will the new team be able to catch up on key indicators of the Ukraine Plan? What steps are needed in the near future to maintain momentum in cooperation with the IMF and the EU? And who in the government and parliament will be responsible for ensuring that reforms do not stall again?
We’ll discuss these issues on August 31 during the next edition of the RRR4U consortium’s monitoring report on Ukraine’s fulfillment of its commitments to international partners.
On the agenda:
- the status of the IMF program’s implementation
- an update on the status of the Ukraine Plan’s indicators
- a panel discussion featuring representatives from the Ukrainian Parliament and Government.
RRR4U (Resilience, Reconstruction and Relief for Ukraine) is a consortium of four Ukrainian civil society organisations: DiXi Group, the Centre for Economic Strategy / CES, the Institute of Analytics and Advocacy, and the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting.
The event was supported by the International Renaissance Foundation.
