DiXi Group jointly with OECD presented an assessment of the implementation of Ukraine’s Energy Strategy
Roman Nitsovych, the DiXi Group Research Director, took part in the presentation of the results of the OECD Monitoring of Ukraine’s Energy Strategy until 2035. A webinar for Ukrainian authorities and other stakeholders was held by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on 11 June.
DiXi Group experts were involved in the OECD work on the development of Framework Methodology for Monitoring and Baseline Assessment of the Implementation of the Energy Strategy as of early 2020. In particular, during the seminar Roman Nitsovych presented an approach to data collection and analysis for monitoring using the OECD tool.
The analysis contains a number of recommendations for government officials to revise the Energy Strategy, which is an urgent task of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine assigned thereto by the President Decree of December 2019.
The work was performed by OECD with the support of DiXi Group under the project “Support to Energy Sector Reform in Ukraine” for 2019-2021. The project aims to support the efforts of the Government of Ukraine to reform the country’s energy sector by improving the investment climate, corporate governance of state enterprises, support of competition and introduction of anti-corruption practices in the sector. The project is implemented by OECD with the financial support of the Norwegian government.
