This opinion was expressed by TarasTkachuk, an expert of DiXi Group, in his comment on Ukrainian Energy website.
“In the first place, FINTECC gives the go-ahead for renewable energy development in Ukraine, where, on the one hand, there is a green tariff and, on the other hand, there will be an opportunity to finance cost-intensive green projects.
It will also promote development of domestic start-ups in the energy sector and introduction of foreign innovative developments which were not used in the domestic energy sector”, told the expert.
Continuous renewable energy development is especially important in the context of the European integration of our country, which provides for the need to adjust its consumption to 11 percent with a potential for further increase.
In TarasTkachuk’s opinion, households stand a chance to reduce their energy expenses, provided that they implement the European practice of the use of renewable energy technologies. In its turn, if small and medium businesses, especially in the agricultural sector, are able to cover their energy costs or even receive additional income, it will boost their development.
