On December 13 at 12:30 p.m., experts, politicians and scientists will discuss the implementation of European reforms in the environmental legislation of Ukraine.
The discussion will consist of two parts: The first part will be devoted to the implementation of the Directive on the Conservation of Wild Birds, the second to the implementation of the updated National Emission Reduction Plan in Ukraine.
The purpose of the first part of the round table is to discuss the key tasks Ukraine is facing with regard to implementation of the Directive on the Conservation of Wild Birds, and to identify the key challenges and outcomes for economic and social development regarding that issue. The purpose of the second part of the event is to present the updated National Emission Reduction Plan in Ukraine and discuss the ways of its further implementation.

Peter Vajda, an expert on environmental issues, the Energy Community Secretariat
Ktibor Kotsman, a representative of the Environmental Department, Directorate-General for Environment of the European Commission
Ostap Yednak, a People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
Hlib Stryhunenko, Deputy Head of the Strategic Planning and European Integration Department, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine
Olena Pavlenko, President of the DiXi Group Think Tank
Andrii Andrusevych, Senior Analyst, the Resource & Analysis Center “Society and Environment”, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Institute of Coal Energy Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, DTEK and WWF Carpathian Programme.
