DiXi Group and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine have arranged a public discussion on new forms of financial reporting for extractive companies.

On July 31, 2018, a round table entitled "New Requirements for the Formation of Financial and Non-Financial Reporting of Companies" was held in Kyiv, organized by DiXi Group together with the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

 

The event was attended by specialists of the respective Ukrainian ministries and departments, representatives of leading energy companies of Ukraine, business associations, academia, international expert environment and public sector.

At the roundtable, the participants discussed proposals for amendments to the accounting and reporting legislation aimed at bringing national standards closer to the EU and IFRS legislation.

 

During the event, for the first time, a public presentation of materials prepared by the Ministry of Finance for the preparation of a management report and a report on payments in favor of the state was held. The participants also had an opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of introducing taxonomy of financial reporting in Ukraine.

The event was organized under the project "Transparent Energy" with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). It is aimed at combatting corruption and improving financial transparency in the energy sector of Ukraine.
