DiXi Group looks for applicants to the following positions:

1. Project Analyst

The person in this position shall:

be responsible for managing research and analytical work, in particular analysis of the market schemes and identification of "black boxes" on the markets,

analyze main results of the journalists' investigations,

assist the journalists and other project partners in the identification of potential stories for investigations,

take part in the preparation of main findings in the framework of the project and the preparation of factsheets and the Transparency Index,

take part in creation of initial energy sector online map,

coordinate analytical contribution to the newsletter,

contribute to the coalition meetings,

take part in the preparation of information requests to state authorities and analyze information from the responses,

take part in drafting of the proposals to overcome obstacles in investigations,

take part in preparation of the conclusions on investigations,

take part in the identification of priority topics,

take part in roundtable discussions and events,

take part in analysis of the information gained through website tools,

take part in developing the updates to the energy sector online map,

take part in the analysis of subprojects,

take part in the preparation of legislative proposals, etc.

Qualifications Required: Masters (or equivalent) degree in political science, social sciences; at least four years of experience in execution of major projects related to big data, different sectors of energy and anti-corruption, experience in analytical work; knowledge of energy sector; fluent in Ukrainian and English; proficiency in MS Office tools.

 

2. Legal Analyst

The person in this position shall:

be responsible for managing research and analytical acticvity, in particular analysis of the market schemes and identification of "black boxes" on the markets,

analyze main results of the journalists' investigations,

assist journalists and other project partners in the identification of potential stories for investigations (from the legal point of view),

prepare main findings in the framework of the project (in the legal aspects),

take part in the preparation of factsheets and the Transparency Index (legal issues),

assist with all legal issues to the project team,

take part in the creation of initial energy sector online map and its updates,

assist in the preparation of information requests,

take part in the development of the legal aspects of the online tools for information inquiries and other online services,

take part in roundtable discussions and events,

take part in the development of legislative proposals, etc.

Qualifications Required: Masters (or equivalent) degree in energy law and policy; at least two years of experience in legal work; knowledge of energy law and policy; good communication skills in Ukrainian and English; proficiency in MS Office tools.

 

3. Financial and Economic Analyst

The person in this position shall:

be responsible for economic analysis of the information received from government officials, results of monitoring and any other information needed for the project implementation, development of analytical papers and factsheets with main findings during the project implementation,

assist in the development of short-term and long-term plan for access to the information needed for the project implementation, communicate with other experts and journalists focused on economic issues,

carry out analysis of financial and economic data,

assess financial flows related to the movement of energy resources for the energy sector online map,

be responsible for analyzing economic aspects of energy corruption schemes,

support journalists' investigations in the issues of economic and financial nature,

analyze energy statistics,

assess fiscal transparency in energy sector,

analyze financial reporting in energy sector,

conduct initial analysis of the received data, including those on economic and financial issues,

take part in the identification of economic and financial data for the energy sector online map,

take part in the interpretation of economic and financial data,

work on the issues of fiscal energy transparency,

take part in the roundtable discussions and events, etc.

Qualifications Required: Masters (or equivalent) degree in economics; at least 5 years of experience in economic and financial analysis; knowledge of different visualization methods, function modeling for business processes’ description, preparing of analytical materials; good communication skills in Ukrainian and English; proficiency in MS Office tools.

 

4. Coalition and Networking Assistant

Coalition and Networking Assistant shall be responsible for working with the project coalition and its members, organization of the coalition meetings and communication with its members between the meetings, delivering messages, drafting agendas of the coalition activity, preparing minutes of the meetings. The person shall also work with various audiences, including journalists, participants of hackathon etc. to ensure sustainable and effective communication and cooperation. The Coalition and Networking Assistant shall also communicate with regional stakeholders and prepare expanding of the coalition. The person shall be responsible for keeping the project team informed about developments of the project ideas supported (subgrants) as results of the hackathon.

Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in management, economics; at least two years of experience of respective networking in non-profit sector; good communication skills in Ukrainian and English; proficiency in MS Office tools; knowledge of experts' contacts in the energy sector (as advantage).

 

5. Accountant

Accountant shall be responsible for preparation of financial and accounting documents, preparation of financial reporting, recording all operations on organization's accounts, control of the expenditure plans, control of the financial documents, storage of primary accounting documents, control of changes in tax, financial and other related legislation affecting accounting.

Qualifications Required: Masters (or equivalent) degree in economics, accounting and auditing; at least 5 years of experience as accountant in non-profit sector; proficiency in 1C software.

 

6. Procurement Specialist

Procurement Specialist shall run daily office management of the project and organize procurement in line with the respectful policies and provisions; contact with potential suppliers to choose best offers; shall be responsible for keeping all the project documentation in line with the requirements, and for preparation for audit in the field of procurement; shall cooperate with the Project Financial Coordinator concerning all issues related to project implementation.

Qualifications Required: Masters (or equivalent) degree in economics, accounting and auditing; at least 2 years of experience in financial planning in non-profit sector; knowledge of procurement procedures; good communication skills in Ukrainian and English; proficiency in MS Office tools.

 

7. Project PR Manager

Project PR Specialist shall be responsible for project publicity and outreach, making sure that the project information is public and widely spread, communicating with media, working in close cooperation with journalists, organizing project-related public events and further activities. PR Manager shall be responsible for drafting announcements and press releases, publications of articles, analytical notes and other materials related to the project, working with social media management provider and sharing the information among main stakeholders of the project.

Qualifications Required: Masters (or equivalent) degree in journalism; at least 5 years of experience in journalism; media database management skills; proficiency in MS Office tools.

 

8. Editor of the Website

Editor of the Website shall be responsible for copywriting materials for the website, publication of analytical materials, editing and publication of investigations, regular updates of the website content and content of the website tools and application, processing the information received via the website tools and application, providing feedback to people who filed complaints or reported energy corruption. The person shall be responsible for content of the website.

Qualifications Required: Masters (or equivalent) degree in journalism, political science; at least 2 years of experience in website management; knowledge of energy sector (as advantage); good communication skills in Ukrainian and English; proficiency in MS Office tools.

 

9. Monitoring Specialist

Monitoring Specialist shall be responsible for data mining, monitoring of the results of similar action publicly available, current monitoring of the reports of abuses and lack of transparency in energy sector in open sources and social media, and publishing sectoral news on the website.

Qualifications Required: Masters (or equivalent) degree in journalism; at least 4 years of experience in communication and analytical field; knowledge of energy sector; good communication skills in Ukrainian and English; proficiency in MS Office tools.
