DiXi Group's President Olena Pavlenko took part in the events held by the CEPS Ideas Lab, an innovative forum for debate on ideas of different European think tanks, government and business representatives, etc. This year, the Lab was devoted to the theme "Reconstructing the Union"; at its meetings, the participants discussed Brexit, mutual trade, social issues, and sustainable development.
"Energy issues, namely digitalization in the energy sector, were certainly very interesting and relevant. The companies that participated in the discussion project further development of this segment of the energy sector and emphasize the need for enhancing the protection of networks and power supply against external interference, including potential hack attacks from other countries.
While consumers underscored the already existing issues in networks for which money is paid but which remain at a low level of development. We had a major discussion between consumers and service providers," Olena Pavlenko told. "At the same time, such discussions demonstrated that Ukraine still needs to improve a lot in its energy sector in order to get to a similar discussion level."
