DiXi Group Report Was Presented in Brussels

Two reports, prepared by the Ukrainian and European sides, on Ukraine–EU relationship were presented during the meeting of the EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform on February, 11 in Brussels. The documents were presented by Olena Pavlenko, President, Dixi Group Analytical Centre, and Alfredas Jonuška, Co-chairman of the EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform.

Based on the results of the meeting, the Platform passed a Joint Declaration with a separate section on the energy sector. The document describes the importance of development of interconnectors between Ukraine and the EU, improvement of transparency and accountability in Ukraine’s energy sector as well as Ukraine’s prospects of joining the Energy Union and a critical assessment of Nord Stream-2 project.
